Sam Mills Fan

we have been grooming bernadu since last year for the G/C role so i just dont see were justin fits

They can both fit. This is the way I see it so far.

LT: Jordan Gross

LG: Travelle Wharton - Justin Geisinger

C: Ryan Kalil - Mackenzy Bernadeau

RG: Keydrick Vincent - Duke Robinson (DP)

RT: Jeff Otah - Jonathan Palmer

Cadogan and Schwartz really dissapointed me. They have alot to prove if they want to be on the 53 man roster.

I really doubt we keep three tight ends, and I also doubt we keep seven linebackers. I think the odd men out are Landon Johnson and Dante Rosario. In their stead we would probably keep another O-Lineman and another DT. I also think that Larry Beavers will make the team, but that's based on very little.

QB: Jake Delhomme, Matt Moore, Josh McCown

RB: DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Mike Goodson

FB: Brad Hoover, Tony Fiammetta

T: Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah, Jonathan Palmer

G: Travelle Wharton, Keydrick Vincent, Duke Robinson, Mackenzy Bernadeau

C: Ryan Kalil, Justin Geisinger

TE: Gary Barnidge, Jeff King, Dante Rosario

WR: Steve Smith, Muhsin Muhammad, Dwayne Jarrett, Kenny Moore, Ryne Robinson

DE: Julius Peppers, Charles Johnson, Everette Brown, Tyler Brayton, Hilee Taylor

DT: Damione Lewis, (player to be determined, it will be someone not currently a Panther), Marlon Favorite, Corvey Irvin

MLB: Jon Beason, Dan Connor, J Leman

OLB: Thomas Davis, Na'il Diggs, James Anderson, Landon Johnson

CB: Chris Gamble, Richard Marshall, Sherrod Martin, Captain Munnerlyn

S: Chris Harris, Charles Godfrey, Quinton Teal, Dante Wesley

K: John Kasay, Rhys Lloyd

P: Jason Baker

LS: J.J. Jansen

Notables that won't make it: Jason Carter, Larry Beavers, Geoff Schwartz, C.J. Wilson, Nate Salley, Nick Hayden

Some people I think that are in danger: Ryne Robinson over Larry Beavers, Quinton Teal over Nate Salley, Marlon Favorite over Nick Hayden

Everything else seems pretty cut and dry. What do you think?

Cutting Salley will save them a lot of cap space so I think that is probably a very realistic cut.

Personally, I would rather keep CJ Wilson over Rosario based solely on ST play. Yes, only having two TE is more of an depth issue than having 4 CB but needing ST players is a diffinent and more pressing.

As for having 5 DT and 5 DE, which you don't have but others have speculated on, I don't see happening. Johnson and Brayton are used way too heavily at DT for them to justify keeping backup DT that will never see a down. If they do accquire 2 new DT then look for Favorite to be placed on the PS.

I don't where all the Ryne Robinson negativity is coming from but he will be the #3 receiver by week 6, if not sooner, bank on it.

Just curious why you'd say this.

Jarrett has looked better in camp thus far, and is clearly being groomed as the No. 3 receiver (and specifically, Moose's replacement).

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Goodson was worked in as our No. 3 receiver, though in the slot. He has really stood out this camp, and I think the coaches realize the importance of getting the ball into the most talented players hands. That's why we're finally seeing more tosses to the backs and multiple tight end sets -- at least in training camp, anyway. :D

I don't really put a lot of stock into what is done in camp, cuz at the end of the year it doesn't matter. A lot of players are totally different in a game atmosphere, some for the good and some for the bad.

Robinson's vision, speed, and big play ability are what will win him the #3 spot as all those characteristics are Jarrett's weak points. JMO
