PS4 Bundle on Black Friday

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to get a PS4 this Black Friday. However, I don't know what to get. There are bundles with The Last of Us and GTA 5 and then ones with a $50 gift card. I don't see myself playing GTA because I didn't like the others and I don't know what The Last of Us like. That being said, what do you guys think is the better option? Do you know of any other bundles out there? If so, where? Is The Last of Us a good game? What would I do with GTA 5 if I'm not playing it? Thanks in advance.

The Last of Us is a pretty awesome third person survival horror/action game about Apocalyptic America made by the creators of Uncharted. If you like third person action games I highly recommend it. If it's not your cup of tea you should probably grab the bundle with the gift card and grab a game you'll enjoy with it.

The Last of Us is a phenomenal game with a great story (some interesting parallels with TWD at times...), but while there are some great action moments the survival/stealth element is big. Definitely not a traditional shoot-em-up.

That said, I'd take that over GTA every day of the week.

well poo..... How detailed are they? Its still cool on single player right?

I feel like it makes it into a whole different game. It does make the story missions more challenging though (for me at least), so if that's what you're into, then go for it. I still like using it to do different things on multiplayer and just fuxing around in general. But for story mode I usually stick to classic old third person.

I will say things like the interiors of the cars are pretty well detailed in first person

Right now, Microsoft is discounting the xb1 to $350. They say it's for the holidays, but if they are selling a lot of consoles, they ought to keep it there. I'm planning to get mine this weekend. I can trade in my PS3 for an additional $100 off the price of the assassins creed bundle.

Though I could probably sell my 60gb PS3 for 130 on ebay...that's work lol

    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
