According to Lofton, “Cam took it to a new low. Right in my face he said, ‘I fug you up more than Katrina did.’ There is no room in this game for a blow like that. I would fight him anytime he says poo like that.”

 

Now, coming from such a reputable source as whynotgivehimthebusiness.com it's hard to dispute this...but I find it a little hard to believe.  Maybe Cam did say it, maybe he didn't.  Feel free to lock this down if this is too sensationalistic, but it's the only place I've heard anything about it.  Even if he did say it, don't care.  Middle of a rivalry game and it got in their heads.  Could also be a case of either Lofton mishearing, or completely making it up.  Wouldn't put it past a member of the saints to fabricate something like this to justify him starting a fight.

But Lofton has only been in New Orleans for what, two years? Lol... What better way to get the fans back in your corner after taking that huge Adrian Peterson-style ass whooping in your own Dome.

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
