The guy dressed as Car Crash Cam in the stadium...who was it?

Some of you really are clueless, aren't you?

Anyone who thinks that post was putting down cancer patients is unbelievably dumb.

Might not be putting them down, but horrible comparison. ..I have family who have died from accidents and survived but cancer is torture not to say I haven't seen a family member in a coma of accident either....if it's not so serious why football players wear pink? I don't see them wearing steering wheels

Listen assholes of the Huddle: You don't joke about car wrecks like this. A state trooper was killed near Charlotte last month when an 18 wheeler fell on his car. A bus driver near Charlotte was killed last week when a dumptruck plowed into her bus after he had dropped his kids off. Someone very close to me was paralyzed when a teenager ran into his vehicle.

When you look at that picture, are you guffawing at the hilarity? No. It's not funny. Save that crap for a lame episode of South Park.

It's "Cam Newton." Everything about him is fair game. The fact that they think this is "okay" let's you know exactly what they think about Cam Newton.

They'd be complaining if their kid was involved in an accident and another kid in the neighborhood dressed up as their injured kid for Halloween.

Same thing.

It was a perfect comparison to make his point. INSENSITIVE IS INSENSITIVE. Doesn't matter whether it's cancer patients or potentially life-threatening accidents. Making fun of either is bad.

You all must find this hilarious, then...

Again, because behind every person who dresses up at a football game there is someone wanting to wear blackface and make a video of themselves... I guess that's what this is....

Why not just compare the guy to an ISIS person beheading someone?

Sorry, the Carolina Panther organization who owns and operates BOA let the guy into the stadium, therefore they obviously saw nothing wrong with it.

Because "ISIS" isn't "insensitive," it's political.

Someone wearing blackface is akin to someone dressing up as someone injured in a car accident.

ISIS beheading someone is comparable to Dick Cheney torturing someone.

Bud I've had parents/family members/ and guys I consider brothers die from cancer/accidents/etc. and I'm only 22. I have the right to speak on the subject due the fact that I was 18 years old and had to watch a friend die in the hospital after an accident or watch one of my parents die from cancer my senior year of high school. Heck I've been in the hospital 5 times this year due to health scares and feel lucky to be alive.

The comparison was drawn to say that there are something's that you don't touch... Accidents is one of them (as is cancer).

Oh and is your question serious about why they don't wear steering wheels? I refuse to believe that you are that foolish.

Not to mention, more people die from car accidents each year than cancer.

Regardless, the point of the post was to point out that there is no humor in other peoples pain and suffering.

Only a sadistic person would think that, that individuals "get-up" was funny.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
