Questionable

Jon Asamoah - G

Steven Jackson - RB

Julio Jones - WR

Robert McClain - CB

Josh Wilson - CB

Probable

Matt Bryant - K

Harry Douglas - WR

Roddy White - WR

Of the 6 WR on the team, half are injured (or at least not at 100% if they do make it into the game). Could make for some good LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE and Mr Davis numbers, among others.

White and Douglas are fine.

I'm not sure about Jon/Wilson

Julio will be ready and not having Jax is a plus.

Bryant isn't hurt, he's just sick. Same goes for McClain.

Why are you even here? Go be a Falcons homer on your own boards.

What about it is homerism? Steven Jackson sucks and is old, Davante Freeman is much better.

Nothing about that is, but other things he's posted. "Norman sucks and couldn't hold Julio under 200 if Julio was at 100%" ... "Julio is better than Steve Smith" ... etc.

This game gets a lot harder if Steven Jackson doesn't play.  It is a testament to the incompetence of Atlanta's coaching staff that he still starts.  It is like how we play(ed) DeAngelo Williams over Jonathan Stewart except even a banged up Williams is still better than Jackson.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
