Around the League - Week 17

San Diego looking like a$$. Baltimore tied with Cleveland can get in with a win and a SD loss.

It would be nice to see the Giants, Saints and Vikes win today because if we lose we would then leapfrog any of these 3 teams that win today in the draft.

Brees looks like garbage too.

Brees hit the ceiling. It's all downhill from here.

Look for them to draft a qb high this year

My buddy who is a Saints fan wants to see them draft a QB high this year as well.

They just extended Ryan Griffin yesterday their backup QB who is 25 years old. Maybe they like him more than anyone thinks.

Definitely be an interesting offseason for them though. They were saying on the broadcast how Brees and Payton both want Colston back, but his cap hit is like 9 million next season.

It's so pathetic watching KC play in the redzone. Without J. Charles they would be hopeless, still 0 TD's to WR's (the entire season)

Did you see Bowe fumble on the 1inch line lol? He fumbled then Kelce recovered in the endzone so the streak continues!

Also, Avant dropped a 3rd down pass that hit him in the hands. Was behind him but he had turned around and still should've caught it

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
