And the Panthers rookie of the year is....

According to overthecap.com Brown and Norwell have 3 year contracts.  Also Glanton and Remmers have two year contracts.  So we don't have to resign them, they are already under contract at some very favorable prices

Also Bersin and Whittaker are both ERFAs so we have the option of resigning them for the league minimum.

Getting some production out of these cheaper players will help to offset some of the bad contracts that DG inherited.

Not to mention what it's going to cost us for Cam and Luke's new contracts. Can't let those guys play next season with only 1 year left on their current deals.

Thanks for that.  The team's future is continuing a brighter trend with a slowly growing amount of cap space.  Didn't realize Remmers was a 2-year.  That's really nice given the circumstances.

PFF. I'm sure you'll be quick to discredit the source but unless you come up with a better one it'll fall on deaf ears.

Any ranking that has a rookie corner that missed 6 games and only having 1 int as the second best corner in the game is obviously flawed.

Also it's from week 14. Playing well in 4 games < playing amazing for a WR the whole season.

Given the way you argued for your buddy Kongo - whatever his name is I don't expect a reasonable debate now.

You know that's a logical fallacy right?

If you aren't capable of having a debate based on merits of your argument just say so.

Can you please explain to me how Bene's four game stretch is more deserving of team ROY over KB's entire season? That's what we are arguing.

Norwell and Bene share it. KB has not been nearly as important as either of those two.

Quite possibly the dumbest statement yet. As if 1000 yards and 9 touchdowns is minor, just throw away stats. Without that production we don't win the Division.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
