I've never believed the NFL was rigged...

It was really bad. I also never want to believe that the NFL is rigged, but my belief is dwindling. This had the feel of last year when we played the 49ers in the playoffs. Anybody who watched that game knew the refs were obviously on the 49ers side. I still can't get over that rigged game. Seriously though, it's getting really bad.

I first started believing the year Delhomme  gave his double gifts to the bears.

Not rigged but it's clear they wanted Dallas to advance. If you thought that was bad, how do you think it's going to be up in Seattle? Nobody outside of Panther fans wants to see us advance. I expect 0 calls to go our way.

I can't even imagine how one-sided that game is going to be called. To the NFL, It would be a travesty if a 7-8-1 team beats the defending superbowl champs in their own house, expect the most BS calls you ever witnessed.

what would be the best scenario then watch how it plays out?  Cowboys to SB would be huge. The Cowboys playing Carolina in Champ game not so much. just sayin... on second thought maybe the PTB would want the 'boys to have an easier road, maybe we will get some help after all.

I just want a fair called game. That's all I ask for. Let's legitimately see who really is the best team out of these two without the ref's help.

It was a shitty call, but was it all that different from the kuechly/gronk play from MNF last year? And I cant feel too sorry for the lions, the league didnt make Jim Caldwell pull a ron rivera circa week 4 2013 move by not going for it on 4th and 1 near midfield and watching his punter only kick the ball 10 yards.

Refs are bad, that's why every play needs to be capable of being challenged for accuracy by officiating crew. Same rules like 2 challenges per team or third if you correctly challenge two, but not every player can be seen at the same time by all the refs, mistakes (or rigged calls) can be made.

1. It was holding off the line of scrimmage that became PI when the defender never bothered to play the ball. 1 missed penalty and the second, well, the flag was thrown, it was announced on live television, then the flag was picked up with no explanation whatsoever.

2. It was unsportsmanlike conduct when 88 came onto the field without his helmet and jawed with the refs when he's not a captain and he's not on defense. 2nd missed penalty.

3. It was either unsportsmanlike conduct for (pick one) either excessive celebration or removing the helmet on the field when Murray scored a TD, reached up and unsnapped his chin strap, then began gesticulating wildly enough his helmet came off. 3rd missed penalty.

    • Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
