Seahawks DE Bennett on the Carolina Panthers

Michael Bennett refers to himself as the Black Santa .. why he does, I don't know.  Dude is a nut.

Hilarious story about his Twitter handle too.  He had this longish beard for awhile .. don't think he has it anymore, at least not to the length it used to be.. but anyway.. when he went to make his Twitter handle he wanted to go by "MosesBeard72" .. only his phone autocorrected to "MosesBread" .. and he just rolled with that instead.

Seahawks DE Bennett on the Carolina Panthers....

“It’s so much alike, man. It’s like you look at a girl who looks like you, and you find out it’s your cousin, so you can’t go on a date with her even though you’d like to, because she looks like you. But then you see her friend, and her friend’s really hot, and you’re like, ‘that’s not my cousin,’ so it’s good.”

If you say so. What ever you meant. :)

You've clearly never heard 24 or 89.

Oh Steve Smith is great too.

Not to derail the thread.. curious what Panther fans feel about Smith, since he seemed to have a serious axe to grind with you guys after you cut him.  I'm guessing that's more aimed towards the FO than the fans though?

He is our greatest player to date.

He is now just being 89. What he does. When he is 89 years old in a nursing him he will still be running his mouth about something

When he is ready to retire we most likely act as if he never left

    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
    • No We have been making excuses for him for 3 years, and we have gave him a hundred chances  Bryce is a bust, and we need to cut him now and stop wasting everyone's time
