Left tackle is the worst position on this team. Bell gave up a pressure on every single drop back. One good run play, and then ten where he got blew up.

Hopefully Gettleman has the balls to clean out the coaching staff.  I've accepted the inevitability that Rivera stays, but Shula, Dorsey and Rodgers at the very least must go.  That will go a very long way toward improving this team.

John Ramsdell is an experienced - and successful - quarterback coach.  On our staff, he serves as an assistant to Ken Dorsey, who was previously a scout.

 

Bruce DeHaven is an experienced - and successful - Special Teams coach.  On our staff, he serves as an assistant to Richard Rodgers, who is Ron Rivera's old college teammate and who never coached in the pros before taking this job.

 

We had a chance to get Hue Jackson or Pat Shurmur, both of whom have proven to be successful OCs, but instead we chose Mike Shula, who's never been a successful OC anywhere.

 

On the coaching staff, just as it's been on the player roster, the wrong guys are in those positions.

Ron has to know he will start the season on the hot seat, so he has to ask himself if Shula is a guy that can help keep his job safe or not

We need a playmaker on Offense, need a punt returner bad and probally a safety and another corner. Offensive line can not be ignored either but it has improved.
