PFF ranks teams by number of "missing pieces" from being a super bowl contending team

Recommended Posts

Norwell is Average not bad.

Truth be told, Kalil had a very pedestrian year himself, but came back to form the later half of the year when the two rookies were flanking him. I think his down year can be attributed to the talent that surrounded him.

One thing I find encouraging is that a lot of the players that they list as "average" have the potential to be at least "good" in the upcoming season.

Kalil, Norwell, Norman, Star, Benjamin, and Turner all have the potential to make that jump to "good" next year. Then there's Boston, Ealy, and Remmers who have potential but just didn't play that much.

By PFF's logic, things are looking up for us. If we can get a decent tackle, a legit starting receiver, and Safety, we'll be contending for a Superb Owl.

What I wouldn't give for one of those Superb Owls....they are mighty tastey.  haha

could not resist

also thats why all these taints and falcunts fans saying HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHA YOU GOT TURRIBLE DRAFTZ BPICKS WE GO BETTER LOL YOU LOST IN PLAYOFFS NO SUPERB OWL FOR YOU. are dumb as fug when you look at the teams who consistently pick in the top ten and never get anywhere.

winning breeds winning. and experience in the playoffs is invaluable especially for a team as young as ours.

Aren't these the same guys who for the past few years kept saying that Luke Kuechly wasn't really that good?

they never said he wasn't good. that's just classic huddle shitposting. they docked him for being below average in pass coverage in 2013. they have him in "elite" category this year, voted him to their all pro team etc.

Olsen can't even run a 5.0. His hands are elite, but his lack of ability to do anything with the football drops him to just "Good" in my book.

Not his fault that he's our best WR. TE isn't a huge yac position. He's a reliable guy that runs good routes and rarely drops passes. That makes him elite in my book.

yea most posters were saying keek needed to get better in pass coverage, but he was so far and away the best run stopping MLB in the NFL, so unbelievably good that it masked that. I think that's where PFF got the "overrated" thing last year.

This year, he stepped his game up in pass coverage.

I like pointing out Cams QBR the last 4 games. Thats promising.

I dont know how they credit Kelvin with 7 drops. I think I saw him drop that many in 2 games. Thats coming from a huge Kelvin fan, was sweating that we wouldnt take him.

yes we need tackles, receivers and a ss and sure we can win a Superbowl. Ron wouldnt have any excuse.

Olsen ran a 4.51 at the combine when he came into the league.. that was better than what Graham and gronk ran at their combines. TE isn't a fast position. It's a "block well and catch the ball when your number is called" position. Olsen is absolutely elite
