DT Vince Wilfork (possible release)

I know, I know. He is 33 years old and we are trying to go young. Combine that with the fact he is still on contract with NE. However, if there is one thing I know about NE, it's that they know when to let go. Wilfork is massive and a big threat in the run defense department. Okay let's be honest, he takes up a lot of space. Also, he could be cheaper given his age and recent injury. He could be a nice two year rental. What you guys think?

I think he's their version of Thomas Davis, he'll be a patriot or retire

Yeh, more than likely. The fact he said there was more football left in him might indicate he still wants to play regardless. It's not like he hasn't won a Super Bowl. Lol! Just discussing tho.

I wonder if Cam could work some magic on Fairley.

I wanted Knighton when Jax let him walk, he's a FA too.

That would be nice. Don't wont Suh tho. I'm aware he would be too expensive.....but even if he won't. NO! He should have never been allowed to play that playoff game. "It's not fair to let the team suffer." WHAT?!?!

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
