With Dwill released and Dave constantly reiterating the concept of using FA to fill team needs, does he

A.deem Fozzy and Reaves as viable options for #2 and #3 RB's?

Or

B.Pursue a FA RB?

Hoping this means he may make a run at Spiller

 

Draft a RB in the middle rounds, Fozzy, Reaves.

 

I'm still not so sure that Tolbert is going to survive the offseason cuts considering his $3.5 millions salary in 2015 ($2.5 million savings on the cap if he's a June 1 cut).

There's plenty of solid mid-late rounders.  Duke Johnson, John Crockett, Jeremy Langford.  I think it could be a likely scenario we find one in the draft or UDFA class afterwards.

Didn't Gettleman tell DWill the reason we were letting him go is because we don't run the ball enough to justify having 2 high paid RBs on the roster? If that's the case, what's the logic I. Then going and signing a guy like Spiller? It's not gonna happen...hopefully that money goes to upgrading WR and OLine.

Fozzy is a downhill runner thAt has great balance and always falls forward. thrilled with his play and I have little doubt he can be our #2 back.

Gettleman wouldn't have let DLo go if he was depending on the draft to replace our franchises best.

I think there's a solid chance the Panthers draft a RB in one of the later rounds and maybe even sign a vet FA to compete in training camp.  They need to foster some competition at RB that hasn't been there in many years.
