Michael Oher Visits Panthers

If you look at the other free agent tackles, a few of them are coming off somewhat breakout seasons. They weren't highly rated beforehand but had great seasons in their contract year. I think those guys are much bigger risks than Oher when you consider the price tag.

As mentioned yesterday, Oher would be a good stopgap while #Panthers groom younger T or Ts. Is he ideal? No. But little is going to be.

Slightly better than Bell if he's cheap I'd be fine with him signing but I prefer someone better.

I might be wrong, but since Oher was released I think he is one of the few free agents we are allowed to have visit right now. The other free agents aren't allowed to visit with us until March 10. I'm glad we are showing that finding a LT is a priority. Whether it's a temporary fix, or a long-term option. Signing Oher and then drafting a guy in first wouldn't be a bad scenario.

True. We would also be able to visit with the likes of Ginn or Jacoby Jones.
