Mike Wallace traded to the Vikings for a 5th round pick

Wallace and a 7th rounder for the Vikings 5th rounder... The picks are honestly basically a wash. Wallace was handed to the Vikes. What's great about this is I don't see the Vikings drafting a wideout in the 1st now, making it more possible that Parker or Strong will be there at 25.

First person that turns this into another "Gettleman hates Cam and won't get him any weapons" thread gets a two day paid vacation.

    • He still has his bio up at ESPN https://espnpressroom.com/us/bios/david-newton/
    • I really don’t understand the urgency at TE. Or to cut bait with XL.  Are people thinking that because Cam did so well with Olsen that Bryce would do the same? I don’t, at all (and Kmet is no Olsen).  We are not Air Coryell or Air Chud, hell we aren’t even Air Shula. We are a lot closer to Air Check it Down.  Re XL, you need depth at WR. We should at least see what camp looks like before cutting bait on him. Make sure everyone is healthy and see what he looks like. What his attitude is, if he is working hard, all that stuff.
    • I mean you technically have to count his rookie year but in all honesty last year was more like year 2 for Young. His rookie year was such a sh*t show. None of his WRs from that year are in the NFL. Worst OG performances in NFL History and the coach got fired 11 games in. That's about as bad a scenario can get for a rookie QB   Josh Allen also had some serious doubters his first couple seasons. He only threw for 3,089 yards his 2nd season before making the jump. Young has to continue to improve and now that he's in the same system for a 3rd consecutive year he may keep showing improvement. And if he doesn't we should he in prime position to snag a top prospect next year
