Ultra early power rankings from NFL.com

If Tolbert is healthy and our line plays like they did the last part of the season, our rushing attack will be effective. DLo missed the last half of the season and we did just fine.

Fozzy is my #2 as long as he has Tolbert and a healthy line to run behind. I won't be surprised if we draft a RB, but I doubt he'll be as effective as Fozzy.

Stewart was looking super solid and earning his paycheck at the end of the season and I expect that to continue.

Cam makes his rushes on the fly, and sometimes it makes no difference who is in the backfield with him. Stewart, Fozzy, Tolbert and Cam is a solid RB corp. I'm excited about seeing whet Fozzy can do with a true role and regular carries. Tolbert needs to get back in shape to be effective and Cam was injured last year too, so if they can get close to 100%, this offense is going to be way more productive and more versatile.

I'll take a power ranking article over a draft do over. They do it EVERY single year and it just ends up being recycled. Can find the same article with same picks year after year. So old and pointless.

That being said it's a fair ranking for Power rankings, but it's so laughable because it's march. And LOL at people thinking Seattle will still be a dynasty. They traded away their best lineman and lost another solid starter in FA, and gained a soft TE that in past has had a problem with the Hawks. They got rid of Harvin but got Graham? lmao dumpster fire incoming, along with their future cap room problems while trying to figure out Wilsons contract along with Bobby Wagner who Hawk fans think is "better" than Kuechly.

People are doing power rankings in March...

Good grief.

Eventually there will be year round weekly power rankings.

"Power Rankings, Febuary 20-26 2017

18. Carolina Panthers:

Cam Newton said in an interview this week that he's enjoyed having a few weeks off since the end of the postseason. I know it's early in the offseason with the Superbowl only having been played three Sundays ago, but this kind of talk shows a lack of focus to me, and that's why I had to knock the Panthers down 8 spots."

Time to start pushing our sights a wee bit higher than just winning the division again. Anything less than at least winning one playoff game will be a disappointing season.

It's every teams first goal, to win the division.  Once you accomplish that, you start playing for playoff position, then get to the SB then win it.

Every year, its the same goals.

It never changes.  You cant focus on one game at a time saying its super bowl or bust.

It's a process.

    • agree to disagree you are entitled to that opinion even though I find the argument completely bizarre based on data. I could type out a long paragraph discussing those areas but what’s the point. I posted a screenshot that showed Bryce in a similar post snap situation with a free rusher in his face which resulted in a TD - that’s what happened on the play so I posted it.
    • I've already addressed this notion in a previous reply. You are basing your assertion outside reality if you think Bryce would have not only been more successful but defeated the Patriots in place of Herbert. Bryce got blown off the field by that Patriots team with the highest paid OL in the league. We've seen Bryce with an OL that gave up 65 sacks and it resulted in the #1 pick. And that is not a defense of Herbert or arguing he is a great QB in any way. He has physical talent but he has been similar to Darnold early in his career in terms of his very up and down perfomances. However that does not change the fact that they have significantly less invested in the OL than the Panthers.
    • I think Tepper has been setting the stage where pending there is no miracle he wipes it all clean.  Think you already have been told that with small things like Evero staying.  Bryce is the guy next year.  OC, DC, everything stays the same.  QB room largely the same.  Nothing would really matter there.  They basically get one more shot and it goes how the schedule paired with our 27th ranked O predictably most likely goes.  Everyone out the door together.  Bryce is a bridge tier QB.  I don’t see Dave surviving where he could be bridge QB here in reality.
