Which spots on our roster will benefit most from BPA.

With our holes seemingly having been addressed in FA, what position do you think we benefit most from BPA (assuming we are able to get solid players)?

1.RB- Stew's contract and health is always a concern

2.DE- Looking to replace CJ for cheap?

3.SS- Harper is slow

4.LB- Klein I doubt has lived up to expectations/TD replacement

If we can get solid contributors at these positions, we should field a formidable team next year.

I would have to agree with DE and RB but since the draft is deep with WR and CB I would have to rank them higher than safety and LB but there could be some good LB at 25 like Dawson and Thompson. I wouldn't say OT because the best would probably be gone. Any tackle left when we pick probably wouldn't be BPA.

Please no Dawson. He ran slow and when he was getting heat for that, went on twitter to say he is not a track athlete. Combine that with news about his attitude and I don't want him. He also looked quite fat in his combine drills lol.

True but he is a top talent and kills it on game film. Sometimes players have bad measurements but tear it up on the field, this is one of those guys. He isn't a player I would want with our 25th pick but could be the BPA.

Wrong there are 6 1st round grade OT's that  would be BPA  over LB, DE , or CB  that would fall to us also.

BPA is a nice philosophy, but in reality, I don't think teams follow it that closely unless someone drops a complete round or something, you know like Kony did.

The first 3 round in my opinion are to look for guys that could possibly contribute right away and for us it would be WR, DE and RB if Gurley drops.

After that, you look at who might be on a one year deal or his last contract season.  I expect Gman to take a couple OT's especially since we have 3 5th rounders because Martin is a one year deal, Remmers, Oher, etc are all short term guys. Grooming their replacements should be in order.

I would expect

1st  WR or Gurley

2nd Cedric or DE, WR

3rd  OT, CB, S, RB (if no Gurley)

4th  Guys to groom

5th   Same with the possibility of trading pick

5th  Groom

5th   Groom

6th   Groom or trade

7th   Groom or trade

Have to disagree with you there. There's a lot of uncertainty this year with the OT's.

Most uncertainty is technique , which is coachable , also the Top LBs, DE's and CB's worth the value will be taken before our pick but the OT's will be there. Even if they don't start at LT they will be immediate day one starters at RT which is  a vital position in the run game which seems to panther's identity to compliment a top defense right?

Check out the link for grading on NFL combine with  6.0 being a Instant starter.

Everyone else: Please stop spreading false rumors about OT's there is talent in the 1st round that should make immediate impacts on multiple levels from the run game to a clean pocket for AceBoogie!

    • I am not sure it should be a ‘sell out to go to the SB’ season. And hope they don’t.  At the same time I was thinking you absolutely must find out if you want to pay for Bryce or not. That means putting it on him. No protecting and trying to hide weaknesses with the run game and a super conservative calls.  So I wish they would do it and find out, win or lose, 2026. No more developing. Time to do it. Let’s see once and for all.
    • My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick.  I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble.  I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs.
