Well damn, I'm injured...

I had a soccer game 10 days ago and everything seemed fine until next morning when I struggled to walk due to soreness in my upper thigh... The pain persisted but I already had an appointment scheduled for my annual physical so I just sucked it up and ate Advil. My doctor informed me today that I partially tore my hamstring and I'm not allowed to do any sports for a while. I guess I'm getting old.

I just strained my left calf today playing of all things, volleyball. I could actually feel it tearing from lateral to medial. It isn't too painful, but I can't move my left ankle at all. Walking sucks when I can only half step with my left leg.

Dude, you've been a valuable contributor to the board and we appreciate all your effort over the years, but now you're injured and well, let's face it, you're not as young as you used to be.

I'm gonna need you to take a pay cut. If you refuse, we're gonna have to release ya.

Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
    • First day in 3 weeks my pain started to dwindle just a tiny bit.  Got switched from hydrocodone to post-shingles pain patches.  My insurance refused to pay for my patches as I’m too young for shingles per them.  I also need a prescription to get shingles shot and insurance also won’t pay for it even thought I just had shingles and in high risk to get it again.
