With our desperate need at OT, i suspect a team will jump in front of us via trade ifca quality OT is still on the board at 23 or 24. If Collins, Peat, Flowers and Humphries are gone ... i suspect we go bpa at DE or WR. Big question is will DG trade up 5 - 10 to get a quality OT.?.

Mariota will go #2, but even if he does fall I don't think he falls past 6. I don't think Strong is there when we pick, and if Peat is there (highly unlikely) I doubt we will pass him up.

I don't get why people are so high on strong. He isn't blazing fast, and the OT's here are so much better than him. Peat is a no brainer if he is there, and I think Humphries is our backup plan. At least, I hope.

I think people like Strong because they know what he is. He's going to be a guy that churns out first downs and will be ready to contribute early in his career.

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
