Devin Funchess !!!

 

Me too.  He had a severe toe injury as a senior, which hurt his season and slowed him at the combine.  It may have contributed to some drops.

Exactly....they have speed in Ginn, Philly, and Hill to stretch the field and open up the middle.

Right. Our issue last year was speed....Ginn fills that need, along with a second year version of Brown. These receivers will cause matchup problems, and help our weak line and running game.

I think after DGB got drafted we panicked and traded up.

I wanted a speedy receiver but beggars can't be choosers, at least we didn't go defense. Funchess is a real question mark he disappeared in some games and he plays slower than his time.

As far as him disappearing, just keep in mind the QB situation at Michigan last year; I think anyone who has as bad of a QB as he did would have some bad/invisible games.

Put him into a more consistent offense where he isn't the focal point, and see what he can do.

      You do, the guy who doesn’t appear to grasp projection.  as the entire board knows, I do in fact, take positions.  The position here I have taken is that Bryce Young is a weak bottom tier starting QB, without NFL starting QB tools, that we must move on from.

      The OP for one. Asserting that people blamed Bryce for the loss in the title of the thread. That was not the prevailing sentiment at the time this thread was created. Very much a minority thing, I don’t remember but maybe one person if that, putting it on Bryce as the main reason. Troll thread. Did a good job too. Look at the pages.  Someone counting up the draft picks as 10 on offense and 10 on defense or whatever the number was, today or yesterday - of which the offensive ones were heavily 1s and 2s and the defensive picks were heavily day 3 and declaring that proof that the offense wasn’t favored like people claim. The obvious neglect we watched for two years. I spent time refuting that bullshit because someone needed to.  People saying we are bad horrible people and hate poor lil Bryce for no reason, as if it is a personal thing. Constantly.   Along the same lines is people saying we non Bryce fans would rather lose than have him play well and the team wins. That we are mad when the team wins   Point illustrated.
