Post draft cuts possible

hope not, but I wouldn't be suprised if we do

I'm just thinking, after FO said he was navk to his 2013 form, that we will let his contract run its course. If hes back to where they say he is, it would be a bad decision to leg go of one of, if not the best FB in the league. Especially understanding he has such an understanding of our playbook and the role he plays in it.

I'm pretty sure we will be dumping a WR or 2 and probably a LB.

I really see no reason why Bersin should be on the roster.

You see no reason a kid that grew up down the street from JR, played at his Alma Mater, and the same position that JR played; might have an advocate to stay on the roster.

Not on our team but Alfonzo Dennard was cut.  That's an interesting one.

Before some legal troubles, Dennard was looked at by some as a late first- or early second-round pick. At almost 6 feet and 205 pounds, he's certainly physical enough to warrant a look from some other teams out there.

Not sure what the legal troubles were or his injury but worth an inquiry I suppose...depending.

    • I wanted someone to hire him so we got the picks, but I'm also not upset that he'll now be back. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans on here dislike him so much.  No, he's not perfect and made some mistakes this year, especially at the end of the playoff game and going so soft in coverage on the final drive. But considering this place torched him all offseason for us having the "worst defense in NFL history" last year.  Said in the whole pre-draft process how we had to go defense in round 1 because of it and then complained the rest of the offseason that we didn't do enough to improve the defensive roster. How do people say all that about the defense and then complain when he turned that same unit into a pretty respectable defense this year.  They were really the only reason we were in a lot of games for most of the season, as the middle part of the season they really stepped up and were playing like one of the better defenses in the league. I don't see any reason we can't improve even more next year if we spend another offseason focusing on adding pieces on that side of the ball, which we should be able to do with our draft picks and cap space.
    • And they are perfect during the month of February! The fact they're 11th in the league now, but best in the league since Dec 6 tells you everything you need to know.
