Advice Needed - Neighborhood Barbeque

Went to a neighborhood BBQ on Sunday for veterans day. 

I brought burgers. As I laid them on the grill one of my neighbors said she brought bacon for them. I thought, sweeeet, bacon cheeseburgers it is. 

That is until I walked over to the condiment table only to discover she brought... canadian bacon. Thats right, she referred to canadian bacon as bacon and expected people to put it on their burgers. 

So question: What would have been an acceptable level of shame to inflict on this woman publicly for such a bbq infraction?

You should've walked home, went to your fridge and brought back a slab of bacon. Took her cooked Canadian Ham Meat and threw it in the trash and told her to move her commie self and watch how BBQ is done. 'Merica

This amount of shame should do it.

This is the equivalent of saying you "brought burgers" only to find out they are those god awful veggie things that smell like burnt cat hair.

I think an appropriate amount of shame would have been to make her go and get real bacon from Teeter right then.
