Panthers ranked 9th in top 3 offensive playmaker triplet (Newton, Stewart, Benjamin)

Falcons 10th

Greg. Benji can make more "wow" plays but greg is way more consistent and clutch.

Olsen - 84-1008-6 (123 targets, long of 38 yards)
Benjamin 73-1008-9 (145 targets, long of 51 yards)

IMO they both fall into basically the same possession receiver mold. Olsen is by far more consistent (and actually had a better YAC average), but Benjamin is a better big-play target.

Funchess sems a bit quicker than either one, but I don't personally see him getting the same volume of targets. He could finish with 800 yards, or 400. It depends on how we shuffle him out, how many targets (if any) he takes from KB and Olsen, and how Ginn and Brown contribute.

I think if Ginn/Brown and a distant Dixon can consistently contribute the Offense is going to be dangerous. Not so much big play deep threat dangerous but consistently potent. Panthers will have a great year if that happens.

Benjamin is a more dangerous threat as a receiver in my opinion, but Olsen's blocking makes him one of the best all around players in the entire league and a more effective down for down player than KB.

Olsen's reliability puts him ahead on Benjamin at this point IMO.  But, once Benji gets it figured out and cuts back on the drops he will be our offense's most explosive weapon.  Kelvin's overall size and agility is just off the charts.  I can't wait to see these guys take the field this year, and I pray they make it there healthy (Pounds Wood!).

Don't agree with Stafford Bell and Megatron being ahead of us.

I also don't see how the trio in Dallas is either. If Murray was still in the backfield, ok... But not that trio. He even says in the article we don't know who's going to get the bulk of the carries in their backfield.

      I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

      Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
