A new trend? Sugar wife?

I see a new trend taking place in corporate world where women earn high income and have high positions while their husbands either stay home with kids or work low income jobs.  Anyone else noticed that?

Yes, seeing it more and more.

 

My wife only works 2 days a week. If she went to 40-50 hours per week she could easily support our whole family and I could sell out my business, take on a small part time job and stay home the rest of the time with the kids (or the golf course). We would be set financially.

She will have absolutely nothing to do with that idea even though I have floated it for years.

My sister and brother in law have this set up.  He hasn't worked in over a decade.  I find it a bit odd but if it works for them it's none of my business.

My husband is an engineer, all the guys he works with make less money than their wives.

My sister in law makes 350k and her husband stays home, goes to the gym and gets to have sex with her every night. He's got the life.

My wife used to make more than me until recently.  She got a high paying job with ease.

She can pull down as much or more than me when she decides to go back full time.  I'm considering it.
