Who is your top 3 sleepers going into camp?

Todman, Tillman, Bersin

Bersin won't be much of a surprise pick to the Huddle since Jeremy was talking him up and the reasons why he was likely to make the roster during OTAs, but for the outside world, many pundits are picking Hill (at least prior to today).

I'm SO excited Tillman is a Panther and I think he will add a lot of excitement to the team this year.  Really hoping he can stay healthy and that all our D can learn & execute the Peanut Punch.  I want it to be the Panthers where Peanut reaches the milestone TD talked about when he was signed - becoming the first player to reach 40/40  [40 interceptions & 40 forced fumbles].

Todman, I have a sense he could be a bigger part of our game than many are thinking,  He's had very little mention, and little buzz, but I'd love to see our return game become a feature, not a bug!

*Note re: Todman - I see there's plenty of Todman buzz on this thread.  I was mostly thinking of little buzz outside the Huddle.

1. Remmers - Still somewhat of an unknown commodity, seen a lot of talk about Williams replacing him at RT, but I think Remmers will have a solid year and hold on to the starting RT spot.

2. Klein / Glanton - I think one (or both) of these guys will surprise and be a larger part of the defense this year, filling in nicely as backup as well as special teams material.

3. Chandler - If he truly is healthy, I think (and really hope) that he will surprise and turn into a serviceable backup OL.

Corey Brown, Kurt Coleman, CAP

Brown might not be a 'sleeper' but I think he makes that huge jump and solidifies himself as our slot threat, with the potential to slide outside every now and then and house a few. He's gotten bigger without losing speed and has a year in the league under his belt. I think he will outperform his rookie year where he showed flashes mixed with inconsistency. I think 2015 is the year that he consistently shows up for 19 games.

I think Coleman steps in and takes over the FS role quickly, and kicks Boston to SS where the latter is better suited. Coleman is still young enough to be part of our secondary core for several years, and will benefit being under McD.

Cameron Artis-Payne might start out behind Fozzy, but I see him taking over the RB2 by midseason. Payne comes from the pistol/read option offense that Cam did, and CAP is the type of RB that this team needs in their style of offense. Watching highlights of Payne, it looks like the Panthers offense out there. I think Payne's ability to hit the hole with focus, break tackles and be a willing receiver out of the backfield is huge.

    • Not many people talking about DT, but we have a need.  (DE)  Now this guy is a NT like Brown III
    • But is it about letting Bryce develop or about winning games? Bryce has not been good enough to be an uncontested starter. He just hasn't. How many times has last drive Bryce shown up for 4 entire quarters? Once in 3 seasons? You aren't going to win 9 or 10 one score games every season year in and year out. You may want Bryce in the last 2 minutes. I want that Bryce the full 60.  No one is saying you have to give up on him, but bringing in another QB that can do anything is not hindering Bryce. It helps the team and that's where the focus needs to be. If drafting Sadiq to plague the middle of the field would help out offense, but Bryce struggles to get pass into the middle of the field, is Sadiq a bad pick? Or could he be a good pick with a better option at QB? We can't be afraid to improve. QB, TE, OL, LB, DL, CB, S. It doesn't matter. The goal is SBs, not 5 to 8 years seeing waiting to see if Bryce can develop while the rest of the league keeps passing us by.  Sadiq is a nice option, but I think we have to address tackle if one we like is there because we are painfully thin after this year, a LB to general the field, and a true ball hawking safety that can set the tone in the secondary. Those 3 positions are bigger game changers than a TE that will likely struggle to make a round 1 impact in this offense.
    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
