Brandon Browner carted off with leg injury

Early word is they think he has a torn meniscus.

That's like an 8 week recovery time at the very least IIRC.

8-10 weeks possible...  Won't be back until late October, early November...  damn...

Apparently the older you are the longer it takes to heal...  Browner is 31 years old.

Yeah don't get me wrong guys. I hate that Browner got injured. But at the same time, I'm not sorry at all that the Saints are going to be without their starting corner for 8-10 weeks

Saints were dropping like flies in this first preseason game.  2 players carted off, and a few others went off to the locker room.

Sucks to rack up injuries in the preseason, especially major ones.

I didn't catch the second. Who was he?

For anyone who cares

Their Kick returner looks really good. Speedy and good vision.

Their RB's look legit as well. Khiry Robinson stood out to me.

Their rookie QB looked good in the limited time I've seen him. He can run too.

Defense looks like dog poo and it won't help them nearly all those injuries are also on defense.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
