Considering our number one and number two wide receivers didn't play, I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the way this game developed.

Nice hyperbole there.  I didn't see anyone saying we would go 0-16.  But, as was evident last season, we will lose more than we should if the problem isn't addressed, which us why I brought it up. 

Secondly, being happy because you "hung" with a world champion is for sugar chugging Losers.  Everyone gets a trophy and you get to ride your own unicorn home to the rainbow lollipop castle when the game is over. 

I say this with all due respect, but people wonder why our fanbase isn't more rabid and unwavering in their support?  Your outlook on being satisfied with "hanging" with a team that puts their pants on the same way every other team does is exhibit A.

My outlook is smart enough to know that most games aren't won by blowouts, and playing a great team close is a positive.

Damn proudiddy. You act like you can build a team overnight while in cap hell. I agree it's a shame that Cams talent has gone fairly untapped. But to blame DG for that is idiocy. No offense. 

Yes Shula is the issue. And until his head rolls, we'll never know if it's actually someone else's fault. It's quite obvious that playcalling and scheming is the biggest issue this offense has. Not lack of talent. Perhaps misuse of talent, but certainly not lack of it

If Shula is that much at fault then its managements job to let him go. DG and co are not being forced to keep him. They're keeping him becasue they believe even if we dont he is at least competent at his job.

Actually, it's more the "screaming that the whole offense is bad when it's primarily one guy having an awful night" kind of stupid.

And I'm sure our Pro Bowl center sitting out likewise meant nothing.

I find it quite amusing when people just brush off bad performances like we can just go into the season and pull a switch. Y'all act like we are some juggernaut franchise that consistently makes the playoffs. These aren't reactionary threads, these are legit concerns.

Well, if expecting my team to be a perennial contender and calling out an obvious weakness is being silly, then so be it.   I'll wear that mantle proudly.  I want my team to be great. 

And no, you don't win games by blowouts every time out, but the more efficient you are offensively, the more games you win.  Law of averages would dictate you're not going to score TDs every possession, but again, tonight was more of the same problem we had last season.  You settle for enough scoreless stalled drives and field goals instead of TDs, and you lose games.  As incredible as our defense was tonight, and as talented as our QB is, no one in their right mind would approve of walking away from that first half down to the opposition with only six points to show for your efforts.

Take a look around the leage....hell take a look on madden and see other teams have DUMPED resources into trying to find WRs for there young QBs.

Titans, Jaguars, Dolphins, Niners, Colts.

None of those teams Qbs are on Cams level but he would put up monster numbers with those WR units. Cam has been here 5 years and the best you can do is Journeymen and undrafted players. No excuses and I dont know how this flies over peoples heads like its not a big deal.

Gettleman is a genius for constructing a roster that has backed into winning one of the worst dumpster fire divisions in football 2 seasons in a row. You clearly don't know anything about football if you don't try to fellate Gettleman every chance you get. Garbage offense is Gettlemagic baby!!
