Other Team's Cuts

Here's my big question about cuts and getting a WR. Would any of them be better than Boykin?

probably.  There is a huge gap between what we work with at WR vs other teams vs some other teams.

And not just better than Boykin....Bersin, Philly and heck a vet likely could be released better than Cotchery.

Other teams 3 may be a 1 here.

Just being honest.

Ron and DG are trying to make Philly a 1.....there will be tons of WRs in that neighborhood cut all over the league.

if Dave does nothing....I think speaks volumes of their approach.  Dude can draft but he seems to content rolling with whatever we take into camp.

If not for our top two being hurt, Brown would be a tthree at highest.

Him being number one is an adjustment. It was never the plan.

ok.

that isn't really an adjustment IMO.  An adjustment would be doing something about our current scenario

The Jags have gotten the ball rolling by cutting down to 75. Not much of interest. There is one wide receiver, Tandon Doss.

SI is speculating that former South Carolina Gamecock Bruce Ellington is on the bubble in San Francisco.

Please make this happen.  Bruce is an excellent receiver prospect.  As a gamecock fan I'm pulling for Byrd to make the PS because he has a ton of talent and has made the most of his opportunities here.  But Ellington is on another level.  He is a better slot receiver right now than anyone on our roster.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
