When to expect cuts announced

This may help, a link to my Panthers twitter list: https://twitter.com/Justin_Pollard/lists/panthers?s=09

I've got the accounts for 60 of the 75 players currently on the roster (had something like 70 before the first cuts), I'm assuming the others just don't have one (I've looked). I've temporally removed guys like Kelvin and Frank who are on IR, will re-add once we cut to 53.

We should know just based on who doesn't show up to practice tomorrow because it would be stupid to risk injury and be on the hook for a players salary that wasn't even going to make the team.

Official announcements will be at 4 but we should know pretty much the entire 53 prior to then.

Would be remiss not to add the local guys and our resident ESPNer...

Of course, if you haven't already been checking these, I don't know why.

Guys I wish we could trade:

Stewart

AJ Klein

This could be the last season here for both, and getting anything for them, or in Stewarts case, just unloading his contract, would be nice.

Just a few months ago, people here were damn near protesting to make Stewart the full time starter over Williams. Now that he is, people want him gone too. Ever stop to think that maybe it's not the back?

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
