Dexter Jackson visits the Panthers

Clearly you don't know a thing about Mr. Dexter Jackson.....the kid is a bust, bad work ethic, no production, and all that speed they talk of...you never see it. I would've preferred Yamon Figurs...but even he's a terrible option. There is NO potential here. Wonder if Taye Biddle would be an option...at least he produced when given a chance and he's blazing fast.

Yeah, I wouldn't be aware of all those negatives. But, I'm going off of what I saw of him in college and if I'm not mistaken, I thought he had returned a TD in a preseason game, but I could be wrong... I'm almost sure he did though... And he certainly looked all of 4.27 on the return.

I just don't think it could hurt. I mean, a lot of people on this board didn't even give a flying f*ck about Kenneth Moore when I was asking why he wasn't playing last year... But, everyone is sure one way or the other - he sucks or he's great, lol. Who knows? Maybe a change of scenery would be good for him.

BTW, if Biddle didn't make the Giants, I'd be all for bringing him back in... One of my preseason all-time favorites.

Why do ppl keep bringing up the possibility of Charles Godfrey going on IR? The dude only broke his hand which isn't that big of an injury.

I agree. I broke my hand, had surgery, and came back after 45 days. Yeah, I wasn't 100% confident, but keep in mind that I don't live in the US and the Panthers medical staff didn't treat my hand;)

lol at one of the commenters on that article - he sure knows the Panthers:

The Panthers are pretty desperate at WR and return specialist. They only have four WRs and only one of them is any good. That they tried to bring back Mark Jones shows they really aren't happy with what they have at KR/PR.

Look for them to acquire one of the Eagles WRs after the week one game is over, early next week. Reggie Brown or Hank Baskett, probably, even if they sign Jackson as a KR.

I'd like to see Dex on the team. He's small and speedy with the gifts to make it, if he receives the right coaching.

Put him on a team with Steve Smith and he could get some major boosts.

The Bux, in the waning days of the Gruden era, didn't have the time or luxury to bring him along. He was a stretch for a second round pick, but as a developmental player he has an incredible upside. And I believe he can return punts right away.

Now, if we can just pick up Armanti Edwards in the next draft as well...

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
