Joe Webb on kick-off team?

Did I see Joe Webb make a tackle on the sideline for the kick-off team yesterday after one of our scores? Taking a big chance with good prospect at QB. How do I check? Not like baseball where you can look at the boxscore.

Are you seriously just realizing we are using Joe Webb on special teams? That's pretty much the main reason he is even on the team. Oh lordy can't risk hurting our 3rd string QB on special teams.

He's not really a "good prospect at QB" either. I really like him. But as a do-it-all player. He can serve as emergency QB and WR and is a special teams ace, which makes him valuable on the backend of the roster, but he's not a good QB.

He's a really good preseason QB when the other team is playing scrubs and plays are often broken down. 

 

He is really a do it all, Kordell Stewart like player and I'm glad he's on the roster considering our QB's style of play and the fact that our backup QB is no spring chicken.

Webb was catching kick-offs with Fozzy in the Bomb Squad's pre-game warm-ups 100% certain cuz they were in the end zone on our side of the field

Webb does a great job on special teams and does make watching preseason games bearable.

Do you not remember when he ran down Devin Hester from behind last year?  He likely wouldn't be on the roster if he couldn't contribute on special teams. 

It was Adam Jones against the Bengals. I remember it vividly, because it was awesome.

I would suggest DVRing the game so that you can rewind and see if it was him next time.
