We could go 12-4 and still not win the division. Look at these easy ass schedules y'all

We're 3-0 and there are only 3 or 4 games the rest of the way we'd be underdogs at right now: @Seattle, vs. Green Bay, @Atlanta, maybe @Dallas depending on Romo. But the Falcons have an easier record. They only have TWO opponents left on their schedule with winning records: Minnesota and two games against YOUR Carolina Panthers. The Falcons might have a historically easy schedule and are going to rack up serious win totals. If we split with the Falcons, we might be looking at 12-4 and the Falcons might be looking at 12-4 or 13-3. It would be inexcusable if we don't go 4-0, but it would honestly be inexcusable if the Falcons don't start 9-0. They're 3-0 and their next 6 are Houston and Washington at home, New Orleans and Tennessee on the road, Tampa Bay at home, San Francisco on the road. Ho. Lee. Sheet.

They've honestly escaped being 0-3 by a fuging ass hair.  Sure, they've got a ridiculously easy schedule, but they're not going to win all of them.  Their 3 wins are honestly more about how the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys absolutely choked away what should have been wins.

We're not great or anything, but neither are they.

We could sweep them in December and their schedule is so easy they might finish 14-2. They play NOBODY.

Take julio out and they are a very average team at best. No easy feat as he has proven he can abuse even good,  around top ten, corners. But Norman proved twice last year the elite once can do it.

So the question is more are they playing any elite corners.

    • #1 defense in the NFL. A bunch of rookies wasn't gonna help that unit. Yet out there with UDFAs starting on the oline and nutting up the Super Bowl.
    • Yeah, yanking the tag on Norman when he did after free agency was basically over caused him to go into the draft absolutely desperate and forced to just spam picks at CB simply to field a secondary. The end result was predictable. Man, I'll never forget Julio just streaking down the field wide ass open over and over and over again in that game. I honestly think he could've gone for 500 yards of the game had been competitive enough to justify them continuing to throw.
    • Yeah the real burn in this situation was DG forcing Worley and that other CB pick who didn’t make it for a 3CB draft to pair with that atrocious Vernon Butler pick Overcompensated… I won’t forget DG and Rivera laughing like “see we know what you wanted and finally did it” presser. I mean, Joe Thuney was the pick after Worley lol. I will say the one saving grace was how terrible the 2016 draft was overall.
