Move if you want, but Colin Sack or Pick threw more yards to the Cardinals than to his own team

The bigger thing to take from this is that it will probably be the Cardinals that might be running the NFC at the end of the season. I mean, everyone knew the 49ers were going to suck this year at an epic level... but the Cards are embarrassing their opponents.

who could forget?  How about Jaws saying he could be the best QB of all time?

"I believe Colin Kaepernick can be the best QB in the history of the NFL." - Ron Jaworski, 8-21-13

I'll just leave this here:

Not a fan of his, but in fairness, the team that he had before is pretty much gone.  Most of the problems in SF are the fault of upper management.

A lot of the problems this offseason were on the defensive side. He has Carlos Hyde who's looked like a monster this year, Torrey Smith (who the all-knowing PanthersUnited wanted us to sign so badddd), Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis and on offensive line that's probably about as good as ours overall, maybe a bit worse. Overall the team around him on the offensive side is better than the team around Cam on the offensive currently. Their D sucks though, but their D wasn't the one who through 4 picks or whatever it was.

Haha

Everyone, or those few idiots that bought (or wanted to buy into the hype) with out looking at his actual QB skills. Lol

I remember, there were many of us here, who steadfastly berated RG3, Kaepernick (and Wilson to a similar, but lesser degree) for being glorious products of their system and coaches, hiding their obvious passing flaws.

Don't discount the changes in coaching staff.  Regardless of how hard he was to get along with, he knew how to get the most our of his QB's.

unfortunately i think all the pundits will think that Atlanta will be right up there with them. we can stave that off by beating them, and the likes of the seahawks, colts, cowboys, and eagles.

as for the Cardinals, the Saints played them close too, so im not too disappointed with our lackluster win yesterday. hopefully the only player we will have out this coming week is Charles Johnson. Kuechly should be back, Lotulelei made his presence known immediately, and if Big Money's injury was the worst among he, TD, and Norman, we ought to be in good shape come Sunday.

dammit all to hell if we havent had rotten luck with guys getting nicked up this season though :/

    • No PFF grades up yet but the all-22 is up. Just watched the first passing play (Q1 6:45) from 3rd & 2 on the CAR 37 where Bryce scrambled for the first. Dowdle whiffed going low on the blitzing Oluokun, which forced Bryce to scramble. If not for that, that ball was going to XL on a corner route that he'd have been open. Concerning though that Bryce looked like he was staring the route down (which he definitely did on the first INT of the day). This doesn't absolve Bryce as he made several flat out bad plays throughout the game. Also rather damning is that of the 40 drop backs, according to the filters there was pressure on 16 vs. 24 w/o pressure... though I'm questioning the validity of the early filters because the very first play I mentioned is flagged as "no pressure" when there's very clearly pressure. The first INT was a bad play by Bryce. He thought Murray had started dropping deep to cover Brycen Tremayne, but Murray read Bryce's eyes the whole time which stayed on XL. Murray "broke the rule" here and made a play, but he also wouldn't have made that play had Bryce not been staring XL down for most of the route.   Might not get an all-22 review post up until later in the week. I've got a conference next week that I'm prepping for and the family is still reeling from one of our pets passing over the weekend.
    • We're just bad. Canales is not a good coach. Morgan is not a good GM. Young is not a good quarterback.  We haven't drafted well in a long time. All this stuff adds up. And now we're in a situation where no matter who we hire they're going to be starting at a negative because they're going to have to draft good talent and fill the entire team up.  I don't know guys I think we could be bad for a long time.
    • So true.  I would love to have Jim, Dan, or Sean here.  So sick of stinking it up for the first 8 games and then fixing things just to make sure we dont have a top draft pick so we have to trade the farm if we want a top pick.
