Lol Benjamin, Kuechly, Charles Johnson, D Williams, Cotchery and Star. Like something from a fan's worst nightmare except we are 3-0

In all honesty, past panther teams would fall apart if they lost that many key players. It is still a major possibility it could still happen. Undefeated as of now and i don't give a crap. Onto the next game.

While I want nothing more than Luke to return let's not forget the Cowboys still went 12-4 when Sean Lee was out for the entire season and their back up MLB was nowhere near the level AJ Klein is..

It is kind of funny how we keep moving the goal posts though. First it was, "Let's rest Kuechly for our two division games against the Saints and Bucs." Then now it's, "let's rest Kuechly for the tough four game stretch after the bye."

What next? "Let Kuechly sit out for the SB so he can be full health come next season!"

Dang.....that looks so terrible when you see all those names on paper.  Fortunate that our schedule was fairly soft to begin the year.  I'm fine with Luke sitting again, don't get me wrong, I'm tired of him not being out there, but we need him for the 4 game stretch post bye week.

  1. Ron Rivera says Luke Kuechly did some things with trainers this week, but it was all at the stadium, none of it at practice field.

  2.

Luke Kuechly is out, not doubtful this week. Rivera says reason being Luke won't travel to Tampa.

    • This.  He knows where the seam is about to open, cuts, and accelerates hard. He’s slippery and tacklers always seem to be taking awkward angles to get to him. No dancing. Runs low and powerful. Almost never goes backwards for a loss. We’ve rarely had the guy who bounces off of tacklers. It’s nice seeing another one.
    • I can't speak for others but yes I read it. The conclusions are based heavily around the use of the statistical metric DYAR created by football outsiders and used by ESPN for this article. It only includes players whose production began in 2000. But excluding HOF running backs who produced BIG in an iteration of the NFL that was not yet catered to making things much easier for offenses in order for them to prop up more recent candidates is rather absurd and seems like just playing favorites regardless of where one might fall on their opinion of the use of the metric in question.
