Completely impressed with Delaire

He has great potential and has played very well today, but let's pump the breaks on being so reactionary (the board in general, not OP)....

Jared Allen is not a walking corpse and Delaire is not the best DE in the league after one game. 

Where did you get this? I read previous comments and did not get any indication that people were saying anything more than, "He has great potential and has played very well today."   Not feeling your paranoia.

Was fun watching the kid play today.

He's gonna have to develop more of a game than a speed rush, though.  A good tackle will take a predictable speed rusher out of a play with a quickness using his own speed against him.

Delaire had a pretty good game today. I like what i saw from him but it is only 1 game...

3 sacks in his first game with a new team (yeah no credit on the grounding call) is damn impressive. He spent a lot of time in the Bucs' backfield. Really makes you wonder why two bad teams cut him.

And he's very fast in pursuit and doesn't quit on plays. He has an engine that stays in high gear even when all hell is breaking lose and plays are coming fast and furious. I don't know that he'll ever be more than a situational pass rusher, but even if that's all what a fuging bargain.

What I'm impressed with is his physique and his ability to move

Crazy how things come around though. Bucs picked up him undrafted first and he got them back

I think Delaire played well today because he was familar with tampas offense after spending training camp with them.  Which is why its a no brainer that Getty brought him in and why he played so much today.  Its a chess match and Getty won.

Even though he knows their offense he still has to fight through blocks and get to the QB. I don't expect this kind of success from him every game but he looks like a keeper. Hell, I didn't even expect him to play today.
