So we need to talk about the Falcons and our wild card standing..

Absloutley stoked we are 4-0 and believe me, I am enjoying this win as much as the next guy. With that being said, let me just say that I am 100% comfident we are a overall better team than the Falcons, no doubt in my mind, infact, I think we have a good chance of sweeping them.. Now that brings me to my next point, looking at their EXTREMELY easy schedule, I think even sweeping them wont be enough to take the NFCs..

How easy is their remaining schedule?! They LITERALLY only play one team that has a winning record the rest of their schedule.. Us, yep, us. Other than that, every single one of their remaining games are against very bad teams. So me crowning them the NFCs has ABSOLUTELY nothing with thinking they are a better team than us, their schedule is just so easy its almost as though they secretly hand picked who they play this year.

Now the good news. We have the inisde track on that 2nd wild card spot. Yes I say 2nd because between the Cards and Seahawks, there is most definatley a WC coming out of the NFCw between those two teams. I wont bore you with the in depth stats but just know we are two games up on every other NFC team for a wild card AND we hold tie breakers over ALL of them, so all in all, im loving our playoff chances this year!

We're 4 games in, bro. Just because a team doesn't have a winning record right now, doesn't mean that they won't.

Also, as usual, divisional games, and games against hated rivals, always come down to more than just records. Those are games that are always incredibly hard-fought.

Our schedule is easy just like Carolinas minus 2 or 3 games.

Overall better? Wow okay lol. Drink the homer koolaid all you want. No running game, no WRs and a defense that really isn't so much better than ours. I respect the Panthers but this isn't a Mike Smith team anymore, you'll see my friend. Congrats on being 4-0.

no WRs?! Lol Roddy White has looked downright atrocious this season and Olsen is on par with Julio for a receiving threat plus Cam's playmaking ability outweighs that also. Shut down Julio and Freeman and you guys dont have crap.

You guys have such an easy schedule its not even funny. Do you guys play at Seattle and the Packers?! Thats what I thought

    • He's not wrong though. You talk like a politician on here. Leaving yourself just enough wiggle room to say you never fully counted Bryce out if you need to....But we can all see it. Just say you think he is a bust outright and you will have to type a lot less. Obfuscating your opinion behind QB3 competitions etc....
    • Most EVs are in the 90+ e-MPG meaning some measurement house somewhere compares the EV to a similar ICE model and works out how much is costs to charge (on average) versus fill up as a point of comparison. Talking long term, in the hundreds of thousands of miles?  No clue.  Some early signs are that EV batteries maintain 80% charge over 400k miles.  So there's that.   The challenge and charm of an ICE vehicle is being able to park it under a tree, get your jack stands out and tinker with your engine.  There's just not that same level of complexity in an EV.  I saw someone estimate there are 200 or so moving parts in an EV, and 2000 in an ICE vehicle.  I'm not a part counter so I can't really speak to that. I think that the EV is more the future than any type of combustion engine.  Those will still be around in specific purposes, but for most people - an EV will be the superior option in terms of efficiency.  I say that as someone who loves stupid horsepower numbers out of turbo 4 bangers and inline 6s...  I am one of those tinkers when I can be. A bigger issue for EVs is going to be the ownership versus lease.  Right now, there are INSANE leases on EVs, which is great, but what do you have at the end of that lease?  Nada, maybe some equity if you're lucky.  Where as I'm almost done paying for my car, and plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (or my son wrecks it when he starts to drive).  Will EV makers do the smartphone thing and build in planned obsolesce?  Stop updating software?  I love the tech in EVs, and I think getting more cars and trucks off the road is a good thing.  But I am still just a little concerned.  Capitalism has gotten far too extractive.
