Here is where the panthers rank through week 4 (Pre MNF)

Defense:

PPG: 3rd (17.8)

Yards per game: 10th (339.0)

Yards per carry: Tied 7th (3.8)

Yard Per Game: 9th (92.0)

Sacks: tied 8th (9)

Interceptions: 1st (8) Thanks JNO

Passer rating: 2nd (64.1)

Offense:

PPG: 8th (27 ppg)

Yards per game: 24th (322) lol. Thanks to our defense we dont need many yards to put up points

Rushing Yards: 5th (132.2)

QB hits: 7th (20)... Fun fact the colts O-line has 68 qb hits.

Sacks: 13th (7 sacks).. Another fun fact, by this time last year Cam had gotten sacked 11 times and in week 10 a whopping 9 times vs the eagles. Hope we dont ever see that again.

Just tried to show some of our stats where we rank in the top 10 or so. Not too bad so far, statwise, the defense definitely outperforming the offense. But both doing decent. Not bad while missing key players on both sides of the ball.

Aren't we like 29th in passing offense?

30th... lol

I'm not complaining though because we're still putting up points. We scored our most this past weekend and Cam only had like 160 yards passing. Defense forcing turnovers and giving us good field position.

this is why basing offensive performance on total yards alone is foolishness. granted, its also stats like this that prove you cant only using scoring offense either. even bad offenses can luck into 30 points (-7 for JNo's pick six) if the defense continuously gives them the ball in great field position all game. a truly good offense should be able to start from their own 5-15 yard line, grind clock, and still score a touchdown most of the time. (maybe thats borderline elite, but still... my point remains)

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
