Yeah, after what I just witnessed

I don't know what you're watching but they shut out the Bears 23-0 I believe and rendered their offense completely impotent. They did sleep walk through the 1st half against Chicago.

Beast Mode will be back for Seattle I'd imagine 2 weeks from now. Panther fans thinking this game in Seattle will be anything but a tooth and nail dog fight is ludicrous.

They did, but that game was on right next to the tv the Panthers game was on at the bar so I saw a lot of it. The Seahawks were terrible and there was a clear play on like the Seahawks 10 where a punt bounced off a Hawk and was recovered by the Bears but the refs fuged the call. That was when it was 3-0. Hawks got the ball and proceeded to score on that drive. Whole momentum of the game shifted on that play. The scoreboard does not reflect how well Seattle played that game at all.

Also let me take this opportunity to say that I absolutely cannot stand their mouthy secondary, but mostly Richard "You're not underdogs anymore so stop trying to play that card every time you go on Twitter or someone shoves a mic in your face" Sherman and especially fug Kam Chancellor for singlehandedly taking over that divisional game and ending our season last year. Never wished for someone's reach to be six inches longer like I did for Calvin Johnson tonight just so I can see that dumbfounded look on his face. Go sit out a couple more games you fuging crybaby.

fug Seattle, I hope Norman upstages their entire secondary and returns 4 interceptions for touchdowns in two weeks.

My initial thorough analysis a few weeks back had this game as a loss, now, after another thorough analysis, I now classify this game as "in play" and good shot we take it

does analysis = sitting on your couch with a tub of ice cream and a bag of Doritos while half watching the game and half reading Fifty shades of gray?

If I'm being honest, I'm more concerned about coaching in this matchup.

We've got plenty of talent. But it's Ron, and his coaching style of, for example, sitting on a one posession lead early in the 4th quarter, and watching our offense waste crucial drives with stupid ass play calls. To beat teams like the Seahawks, and the best of the NFC, we need to keep our foot on the gas, and go for the jugular. That is what Pete Carroll has been doing in Seattle, and it has gotten him back to back Super Bowl appearances, with one Lombardi trophy.

Excellent point.

3rd and one pass at the end of the game a perfect example.

You play to win the game.

    • This is huge may not be a trap game but this plays a major part in what they want to do. If we can get some pressure on Sam we know what he does with pressure coming hit and heavy. Also we may be able to take the top off their defense a backup safety trying to stop TMac or Cooker over the top or forcing him to play the backend should allow us to run the ball somewhat effectively. Either they allow some runs or we take some shots and if Bryce and whoever can connect deep we’ll be in business for another big time win against a top notch opponent. Might not be a trap game but health travel game plans all play a major role in each weeks game plan and this week might be leaving our way. We’re missing some replaceable pieces they’re missing key anchors to the offense and defense major difference time to solidly ourselves at one of the top teams in the nfc tomorrow fellas buckle up.
    • Yes.  If I am not mistaken, we need to sign Coker to the ERFA tender and insist that XL spends his spring and summer at a WR camp and not Coon huntin on his four wheeler.  XL was raw when we picked him--which is why I wanted to go another direction--and we are seeing how raw.  He is basically learning a position.     The Panthers will make their move in 2026 to be an NFL powerhouse behind Bryce.  Bryce needs intelligent WRs who catch the ball.  That said, we need a solid #2 to challenge XL and make cutting him easy, if necessary.  A #2 WR (intented to be a #1 by now) with under 400 yards is embarrassing.   On offense, you have to ask, "Where can we get better?"  In my view, #2 WR, TE (although they are improving) and maybe C (again, if we re-sign Mays, he is trending up and at 26, entering his prime--I say stay with him and find competition later in the draft (not good for C).  OL depth maybe?  In other words, XL is a glaring weak spot.
