Has KB been on the sidelines?

Really good read there, everyone should check that out.

As far as him being on the sidelines, here is a quote from the article.

Benjamin said he hopes to start watching home games from the sideline, beginning with the Oct. 25 matchup against Philadelphia. But to this point he’s watched every game from home.

“I’m yelling at the TV every Sunday,” he said. “That’s what I’m going to keep doing until I get back on the field.”

I just hope he doesn't lose any speed and is spending a lot of time in the film room and is able to do some work, building strength, on his upper-body.

KB was never that fast anyway. He is more of a position gguy. Even with that it's not the late 70s where a ACL tear has major effects.

I tore mine 2 weeks after KB did. 3 weeks post op right now. KB said they made him use crutches for nearly a month(almost excessive).

Docs told me to be really careful early on. It feels very unstable at first and a fall would be catastrophic,  considering how hard you have to work before surgery and after to get range of motion back. To have to do that again would be brutal.

When they feel he can be safe on the sidelines they will probably let him be there.

NFL sidelines are dangerous - between Sean Peyton's own players wrecking his knees and Kaepernick throwing darts at peoples heads. Better safe than sorry.
