To top this point off, our record matches the make-up of the team. Good, no, great things are happening with this organization, and it's occurring from the practice squad all the way up to the GM. Awesome time to be a Panthers fan.

The fact that TD isnt in the top 5 should make everyone suspect of ALL these grades.  stats are one thing. Playing the game is another.. I can tell you right now.  there is 31 other teams that would sign Thomas Davis today, for just about whatever amount of money he wanted.   tell me where else in the sport that would be true for a player ranked 25th among his peers.. bull poo list.  im tired of TD not getting the respect he deserves.  Build that man a statue

Did TD have like a really super garbage game in run D that I don't remember or something? That grade makes no sense and it seems like they have been touting him for their team of the week quite a few times.

Looks obviously PFF isn't something you should look at and run with, but it is pretty accurate to how a player is playing. Obviously there ARE variables that PFF can't account for (leadership, changing plays at los, etc), but it's a pretty solid tool. TD hasn't been elite this season. I know we all want to say with homer glasses that he's been just as good as ever, but he hasn't. He hasn't been bad, but he's had a few games where he wasn't himself. He's slowly climbing up the rankings and if anything we should be happy that despite him not playing up to par (for himself) we are dominant. Just think when he is consistently himself again how much better our defense could be. Also I think that Luke being out is what hurt his run grade. They benefit each other so much.
