It's absolutely idiotic not inquire on some of what they have.  For one Joe Thomas would be huge.  If we gave up a 2nd and 3rd for a 4-5 year pro bowl caliber tackle it would be well worth the money.

The improvement from what Oher is currently giving us to what Joe Thomas can provide us is certainly not worth 2 good draft picks and 4x (someone double check that) the cap hit.

I can almost guarantee you Gettleman will not make a trade using anything higher than a 4th.  Maybe, MAYBE he'd do it for a big name receiver, but I still doubt it.
