Screw the NFL and their refs

That catch that was not a catch could have ended the game.  You can't fug up a call like that, not once, but twice (replay review).  The gall of these refs to not reverse that call when it was clear as fuging day to the entire country that the ball touched the ground and he didn't have control is mindboggling.

Bad calls are going to continue to happen, they are part of the game.

Panthers coaching staff needs to develop a killer instinct and bury other teams when they have a chance.

That will help prevent the refs from being a big factor in the outcome.

Totally agree, but that's not going to happen.  For whatever reason some coaches (especially defensive minded coaches) get timid when they want to protect a lead.  I'm a big proponent of doing whatever you did to get there.

We got gases in the 4th. Sloppy field conditions, it was the perfect storm. The olson call was bogus not because of a pick but the linebacker impeded olson's route. The ball did hit the ground that should have ended the game. I do not understand why we stop blitzing when we need a stop. Lots to learn from. BTW somebody get Ginn some damn superglue.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
