We are letting teams hang around, we need to stop being so conservative

Against the Jags, Texans, Saints and now Colts this coaching staff has let the opposing team hang around and it has to stop. This run, run, third a long Cam run or screen pass is killing us. We need to go for the jugular just like NE does.

Are the patriots receivers really better than ours are? Honestly I think a lot of our struggles come down to offensive philosophy and not personnel.

There are college teams with better receivers than us.

notice when you go hurry up pass happy we do pretty good. scheme is more important than you people think.

Tactics were good.  Execution was poor.

Knee jerk reaction.  We were aggressive the whole game and in some situations running the football is the right thing to do.  Ron went for 3 4th downs this game.  Came out passing after going up 17-6 and ended up extending the lead to 23.  But you know some people have to find something to complain about.

That was just a weird game for so many reasons. I wouldn't rush to judgement on anything we just saw.

We had the plan to pull away. It didn't get executed and bad calls but Ron wins again.

Shula ball.... "Oh guys were ahead.  Our defense will keep us there.  Let's just run the ball three and out.  Take time off the clock".  I hate it.  We have been doing it every game since Shula's been here.  Bugs me to death.  But maybe it's not Shula calling those plays maybe it's Ron's call. I don't know

the problem is the offense is not constructed to really pull away from anyone. it is on the defense and ONLY the defense to go out there and in critical situations to get stops and not give up 17 points in a quarter.

if we wanted an offense that pulls away...we should have drafted and signed players in the off season that pulls away...

Yea i'd take Clemson's WR core over ours....and thats after they lost Watkins and Hopkins...be more 1st rounders coming out of there soon.

Pretty much this, this season we have limitations on offense, they are real and they aren't going away this year.

The fact that Shula has managed to gameplan around the limitations is part of the reason I've changed my tune on Shula this year.  I'm honestly shocked we're 7-0 right now and totally didnt expect this after KB went down.  Now though? I just dont know anymore, if we beat Greenbay next week, we're in prime position for taking `1st in the NFC into the Playoffs which will get us much closer to a Super Bowl appearance, but with the talent we have on offense I have no idea how we are managing this...
