Dickson is who he is, we've known this since before we signed him.

I'll give him a bit of a pass because of that touchdown play against Tamba Bay this season. One of the craziest plays I've ever seen.

Dickson made a big catch in Seattle too.

He may not be a great blocker, but I think he might make an impact in the passing game down the stretch.

I don't think he belongs on that list at all.

Just based off the pre season. He was a legit receiving threat. But I didn't see much run blocking from him. There's a reason he's still on the PS.

I can't believe no one has suggested that we draft another WR and transition Funchess into a TE roll (where I think he would flourish)

I'm curious to hear your reasoning as to why you think he would "flourish" as  a TE.  It seems to me like you think any tall guy that can catch a pass would "flourish" at TE.

Tall? Not necessarily. Big and fast? Hell yes. Would also keep him in on more short and intermediate routes that may be easier for him to hang on to. 

That said, if he can't run block then he should stay as a wideout

Because it's not going to happen... He's clearly a WR.

The TE2 spot needs to be a better blocker than Olsen. That's why Barnidge didn't work, he was worse than Olsen.

He's not very big though. He is pretty lean.  He definitely doesnt look the part of someone you want blocking in the trenches.
