Not even mad. Took the guy till he was 30 to put his poo together. Can't wait forever

Either that,  or we just didn't have our poo together concerning him.

Sometimes poo happens.  It's not necessarily anyone's  fault per se.

That's better than apologists giving a bunch of excuses.

I can't believe no one has suggested that we draft another WR and transition Funchess into a TE roll (where I think he would flourish)

I'm curious to hear your reasoning as to why you think he would "flourish" as  a TE.  It seems to me like you think any tall guy that can catch a pass would "flourish" at TE.

Tall? Not necessarily. Big and fast? Hell yes. Would also keep him in on more short and intermediate routes that may be easier for him to hang on to.

That said, if he can't run block then he should stay as a wideout

Because it's not going to happen... He's clearly a WR.

The TE2 spot needs to be a better blocker than Olsen. That's why Barnidge didn't work, he was worse than Olsen.

He's not very big though. He is pretty lean.  He definitely doesnt look the part of someone you want blocking in the trenches.
