Coaching led to loss, not Delhomme!!!!!

Fact: Delhomme is not mobile

Fact: Every QB needs some time to set before passing

Fact: Unblocked defensive players got through the Oline on numerous occasions

Fact: Knowing all this, Coaches did not adjust nor did they coach the players to pick up blitz or convert the passes to a three step drop.

Delhomme was horrid...when are we going to figure out that he isnt a worthy starting QB...yes the oline didnt help but he is not good period...I used to always stick up for him...say it was a bad game or sh^t happens..but it is getting to a point where we need to look into drafting a Qb of the fututre...yes I know fox doesnt like rookie Qbs but Id rather have a Potential rookie QB than a moron who throws worse than my 80 yr old Grandmother!!

I disagree to a point on this subject. Fox is a coach that has lost his impact on his players. John Fox movetivation is not working anymore. Plus you can clearly see that Jake Delhomme just ain't been right since coming back from the Tommy John elbow Surgry. Even though this is game one and it's not time to push the panic button yet. But you can clearly see the signs in front of you that this most liky is going to be Jakes last season even with the new contract. Because this most likly will be Marty Hurney and Foxs last season aswell if the panthers has a awful season like the lions did last year. Yet to be scene what is going to happen. But trust me if panthers 09 record is bad Fox Marty both are gone and this team will get a complete overhaul. The include players and coaching staff alike.

Fox indicated that Delhomme would be the starter next week.

Dissapointing, but expected.

Arizona laid the blue print of how to beat this team and every team will copy cat it until they prove otherwise.

Stack the box, take away Deangelo-Stewart's lanes and blitz Jake.

Jake is so unsettled in the pocket it is painful to watch. His confidence is shot and I think he's done.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
