David Newton asks: Is Cam making himself a target?

Newton is just trying to get some clicks with all of the hubbub around Cam's dancing.  Ever since Cam came into the NFL, people have drawn a bead on him.  Defensive players want to hit him when they can.  The media and fans have wanted to paint a terrible narrative about Cam...

Well, he's going to embrace being the Villain to the many but the Hero to the Carolinas.  I'm cool with that.  Cam is no more a target now than he was when he was a rookie, he's just won 9 games this year and is playing really well.  Also, if someone takes a cheap shot at Cam, they are definitely going to be on camera.  They will get fined and other punishments if they try to play dirty.  While Cam might not be old enough to get some questionable calls, he is a QB, and QBs are protected in this league.  I will bet money that if someone goes after Cam when he's down, not only is a flag flying, Norwell and Turner coming after them, but the league will come after their money.

So those 5 Titans players who couldn't keep him out of the endzone weren't going 100%??  When he's running in the open field, those players aren't going 100%?  If it was that easy, it would happen all the time.  Put it this way... sometimes, a player can walk the walk, and talk the talk, and you can't do anything about it.  MJ comes to mind.  Every professional boxer in the world wants to kick Floyd Mayweather's ass, and they have all given maximum effort in trying to do so.  Every single one has failed miserably. The same concept applies here.

Cam is bigger than nearly every player on defense other than the linemen, so there's really not much anyone can do about it.  If they could, they would.  They can't, and that's just the way it is.  Deal with it.

It is Thursday. The dance happened on Sunday. It is absolutely ridiculous that the sports media is still milking this non-story for the 5th day in a row. I'm getting tired of David Newton and the Charlotte Observer. They know Cam is polarizing and elicits a reaction from people, so they intentionally write clickbait articles. I mean why did the Charlotte Observer even publish that stupid letter to begin with?
