Because the NFL is week to week with different gameplans, players, etc.

that doesn't mean that its not alright AS A FAN and look at how our team is doing and who we have on the docket and think we can't win them all.

If you're a fan of the team you should also be a fan of the team's philosophy

i'm a fan of how the team is thinking. i think that's how they should be thinking. i just don't think that as a fan you have to approach the schedule the same way. it's fine if you do, but i don't see it being mandatory for all fans or think that one way is better than another.

Predicting a 16-0 in week 12 is as pointless as making a Superbowl guarantee..you aren't prepared because things aren't the same week to week

I don't have to be prepared for anything. i'm just a fan whose excited about the potential for us to go undefeated this year and think it can happen.

Ok predict our record through Cam's retirement while youre at it..

what does it matter to you how anyone else looks at the season and what makes your opinion of how to look at the season? i mean what are you trying to prove, that anyone looking at the big picture is a foolish fan? what makes you the authority?

No team in the NFL should be overlooked as a automatic win..if you can just take care of business week to week then everything will take care of its-self

I can overlook whoever i want to. you know why? because i'm just a fan and i can do whatever the hell i want to do. if i was a player or a coach, it would be different, but i'm not. i'm just a fan.

You can make a reasonable forecast given our team's current situation along with that of our opponents for the rest of the year. Barring utter catastrophe, we will be favored in every game for the rest of the year. This is how a logical person can make the not-ridiculous leap to claim that a 16-0 season is possible.

People make a living do so. They are called sports analysts.

How can a grown ass man not understand this concept? I am at a complete loss. I can't believe I have to explain it.

Yeah one game at a time, Fk it on to Nola, and all that jazz. I totally buy into that. But with that said, I'm letting myself dream for the first time this season. Man what a magical ride.

Like the team, my sole focus will be New Orleans this week, and the next opponent each week afterward. But man here's to hoping we are 15-0 going into the last game of the season. I'm gonna be at that game and it will be a special experience to be there to see my team go undefeated in the regular season.

Hate to say it but today is the 1st time I've realistically considered it. I know the team is taking the "one game at a time" mentality every week but we are fans. FUG it. 16-0. Really need Arizona to lose this game though and I'll feel much better.

Holy crap, Zona and the Niners are tied right now!!! If only the 49ers could pull the W, that would be beyond sweet.

if we can make it pass NY, i think we got it........Falcons suck but also could put the perfect reg. season in jeporady

the thing you have to ask yourself is which one of the teams left on our schedule will pull a fake punt, onside kick or any other trick play just to get over on us, that's the part that worries me.

either that or the emotional letdown of losing a game after 3 months of winning may cause me to have extreme liver failure

    • Another layer to that is Ive seen Seattle has been in the market for CB help this off-season.   Michael had a higher PFF grade than Horn who got 15 games this season. He wants to be here too, that's a huge bonus for any 5 win team that had awful pass rush.  The 7th rounder Michael Barrett didn't last long on Seattle, he was cut before the season I think and ended up on browns PS. He's already been on 5.......5 teams within one year.......
    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
