It could be worse than Ginn as no.1 WR

Gotta admit, NE put their receivers in spot to get injured. As a result, they get injured a lot. Those guys make tough catches for Brady and they pay for it often. On the other hand, Carolina's receivers don't often get injured because the ball travel fast and they get to catch it and brace themselves for contact. And those short 4 yards slants can get painful. Those receivers come outta NE brain dead, like Welker.

I think most of what you say is retarded but this is very true.

New England plays for YAC with dink and dunk. Carolina throws downfield like 90% of the time and Cam has a cannon.

Just a different offensive philosophy, and one that they have to play because of Brady's age and arm strength.

That wasn't the name of the game for them when they went 18-1.

Well it looks like the love affair with Brandon Lafell ended in a hurry.

At one point last year people were wanting him back.

He had a good year last season, but he had other talented WR's, and Gronk to mask his deficiencies.

When Lafell has to be the guy, he folds like a chair. Just like he openly talked about at the end of his time here after the Atlanta game with Steve Smith out with an injury.

I could not believe he publicly stated that.

I find it really hard to believe that we only have 6 drops on long passes.  I feel like Ginn has that number on his own if you just pick his two worst games.  But then again, I actually can't remember any drops on long passes by other receivers.  Most of Funchess' drops were at intermediate range.

    • It was at some point his rookie season…really, when Frank had to give him that “break” 3 games in and for Dalton to play vs Seattle.  While it was obvious he lacked the tools….i still contend that was peak between the ears of Bryce on top lacking the physical tools
    • Fair. But I do agree with him, likely AT catches at least one if not both of those balls. For a couple of reasons, probably get better separation, averaged 3 yds in 2024 and 2.9 yds in 2023 versus the 1.79 yds in the game today for Hunter. Additionally, AT is a physically far larger and has a significant catch radius advantage over Renfrow.  That's not to say that Bryce still didn't miss those throws but those bigger guys do help alleviate some of those mistakes just because of those type of advantages. You said yourself, we are having him basically attempt to be an AT clone when he just simply isn’t.
    • You can’t be serious rn. Yes the receivers let him down, did you even watch the game? Bryce played horrible, the WRs outside of TMac played horrible, the LBs player horrible, coaching was horrible. The difference between me and you is you want to pin everything on one player. EVERYTHING. IS. BAD.
