Saints Players were upset with Cam before the game.

Unless I over looked it I didn't see this posted anywhere.

Apparently the Saints players were very upset with Cam before the game during warm ups. Cam grabbing a one handed catch from a Saints player and then walking out on the field as the Saints* exited the tunnel as he has in the past many times.

I don't know who's twitter account this is but it's the only footage I could find to show. I remember seeing this before the game yesterday and the sideline reporter making the remarks that "The Saints* said they take a shot of expresso before the games, what Cam did was like taking a triple shot". Something along those lines.

It appears he may be on their side of the field. Here is the footage. Do you consider this something that should be dialed back? Is it just football? Personally I am ambivalent about it. What say you?

Don't really disagree, but even this is borderline whining if he wasn't actually disrupting anything. Everything else is definitely whining.

I've never seen him warm up anywhere but where he is supposed to be. Cam is very ritualistic in his warm up. He wouldn't just walk over to the other side of the field. Seems silly.

I agree. But the question remains. Was he? I can't really tell. You were there and had a better vantage point than any of us. Does the footage look like it to you?

I doubt Cam would do something like that. I know he watches opposing teams run out of the tunnel, but that's about it.

Anyways, what's with all these sour grapes from a 4 win team? You would think this was a playoff game.

Get over it Saints.

    • I read the entire article.   Seam routes are great against a single high safety because they have to make a decision.  They can be high risk, high reward play but they are a staple in nearly every NFL game.  Just because they are tight windows doesn't make them hospital balls. The biggest takeaway from that whole article was this is football.  You're going to get hit.  You can get lit up on any play.  QB tries the best he can to judge the distance but the structure of the play is going to get you hit and that safety can run down hill.   Here is one to Sanders, from the same game, who slows down slightly and puts himself in a better position to make the catch without getting lit up.  Hunter ran full tilt and jumped.  No fear running that route which is what Grok recommends.

    • You don't throw high over the middle, unless your Bryce then it's okay and it's the recievers fault. Plus Sanders is 6'4" 250 and Renfrow is 5'10" 180
