We are playing for a 1st round bye and home-field still. Why would we rest starters and bring in backups? The inactives make sense.

It might help to have Stew take less carries, though. He's rushed more times than he ever has. I'd personally like to see Wegher or CAP over Fozzy, spelling Stew.

It's keeping your eyes on the bigger picture. We can win and limit Stewart's carries. It's paramount we keep him fresh and healthy.

I realize we need to start limiting Stewart's carries. However, Ron isn't going to bring in someone with limited experience (Cap over Fozzy) unless he is forced to when the current game plan has got him to 12-0. To expect anything else is silly.

No CAP no Delair....just odd.

Delaire is explained by Mario Addison being back.

Wish CAP could get in, but I just don't know who they'd deactivate.  Basically there's no space for a 4th RB.  He'd have to take Fozzy's place or something... which honestly might be a good move at this point.  CAP needs game experience.  But I guess I'll keep trusting our coaches.  We're 12-0 and that's not an accident.

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
